Grendi Futura will be deployed on both domestic routes over Sardinia and international routes to North Africa.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The decision to rename &#8220;Grendi Futura&#8221; the 180-meter-long ship &#8220;Wedellsborg,&#8221; built in 2014,  <strong>flying the Italian flag<\/strong>, already leased to the company and used to transport containers and rolling stock between terminals in Marina di Carrara, Olbia, Cagliari and North Africa, was taken by a large majority in an online vote by employees, customers and suppliers of the integrated logistics group.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The purchase, previously announced in March, was finalized through Nav.Co, a newly formed company based in Genoa and 51 percent owned by Grendi Trasporti Marittimi and 49 percent owned by Finaval.
